Pastel Painting Workshop

your painting by honing your understanding of the importance of focal
point, color and value. Enjoy lots of one-on-one attention and assistance
at your easel with a very approachable and accessible instructor. Paint in
the beautiful hilltop gardens of Berry Hill overlooking the fields and
hills of glorious countryside. Class includes demonstrations, discussions,
critiques and plenty of working time. All levels of expertise accepted in
this workshop.
Artist Lee McVey uses pastels to create
landscapes people feel they can walk right into. A pastel artist who
recently relocated to Albuquerque from central New York state, Lee is a
signature member of Pastel Society of America, Pastel Painter's Society of
Cape Cod and also Plein Air, New Mexico. She is a member of American
Academy of Women Artists, National Association of Women Artists and Pastel
Society of New Mexico. Her pastel paintings were featured in an article in
the March 2003 issue of American Artist magazine. Lee is one of the one
hundred artists included in the book, How Did You Paint That? 100
